Funny you should say that. John is actually helping me A LOT. I have been to his house a couple times now and each time I see something new. He tells me he doesn't mind my questions but I don't want to bother him too much.

Back on topic, we're going into summer, which is when we decide on who is council. The few that want to see this thing through are planning on making recommendations for change. It's not a coup or take-over, though. The elder members have expressed that they're tired of the responsibilities, like planning shows/demonstrations, and they would like others to take it on. In the past, few people wanted to, because they'd already done it. I think we're ready to carry the torch.

I am sorry for getting off topic. I don't think my previous question was addressed. This "Aging Club" where is it located? or is it a virtual "online" club?

No worries, happens all the time.
I am speaking of a typical in-person bonsai club. For me, Roanoke, VA, USA. Several clubs in the region, but this is the closest to me by a long shot.
