In fact, yes.
The tree has been growing like mad in the wire mesh colander. It never rusted, there are roots being airpruned, and the tree has never been so healthy.
Let's see what happens till summer here, but I guess it will thicken a lot.

where did you purchase this colander. i have a juniper rigida that has been airlayered and is ready to cut and pot. was thinking of giving this colander a try.
