I recognize the one on the right :)

The one in the middle - great progress!
The left one - radical change in style, seems to be working out.

The one on the left endured a heavy fifty shades of green session

The one on the left looks like it was a lot of work, and a huge change. What made you change your mind so drastically on it?

I love the one in the middle. You have made great progress. The small pad that creeps behind the pot gives it depth and a real sense of movement.

The one on the right looks very regal. I think I prefer the shape of the first pot a bit more, but the color of the second pot is much, much better. What are the plans for the future on this one?

Thanks to all,

Left, When i bought the tree (pic 1) , i saw a bunjin in it. I went along with the design as a kengai, but it didn't work out for me. It has a long way too go, I straightened and styled it a bit, but not a final design. I first have to work on the roots because it's only on one side of the tree.

Right, it's lacking a branch in the back so i have to create one , I have to grow nice pads and do some wood work.

Update,

The pinus sylvestris worked out fine as a bunjin.
The pinus mugo had a long recovery from repotting.
The juniper is recovering from a spider mite infestation, i will update if healthy.
