Hello everyone,

I am brand new to bonsai and I wanted to see if I could get some info in regards to beach patterns for my twin trunk bonsai. Essentially, did I trim it right? If not, can I correct it?

I’v done Some research on how it should be trimmed and I think I did it right but I want to get some opinions from those who have much more experience than me.

Attached is an image of my twin trunk Dwarf Alberta Spruce bonsai. You will notice my wiring job is horrible, but it’s something I intend to dig into deeper as well.

Regards,
Justin

It looks fine.
The upper left branch of the thicker trunk is too long, and I guess it will be thicker than you intend in a while.
Could become an interesting tree in some years, good job.

It's not perfect and you need more practice, but I wouldn't call it horrible. The windings are tight, the distance is correct. You have some crossing wires, but overall, it's not that bad, really

Thanks for feedback! I’ll go back and loosen the wires up a bit where it’s too tight.

Oops. I see a bit of misunderstanding. I meant nice and tight. No space between wire and trunk, which would make the wiring less effective.

Leave it like it is. It is ok.
