Impossible to give that advise without knowing the trees or the composition you'll make. You'd choose the pot based on that, not make the composition based on the pot.

Having said that, I would probably go for the second one.

But let's wait for the penjing expert that we have on this forum :)

Oh... nice ones!

Yeah, I'd go for that square pot. I'd probably use the first three trees, and not the fourth one.
But again, let's wait for Mimo, he has more knowledge about landscapes than I do.

Except that... these are not your trees, you just plucked these images from this website. Why would you do that? Or are you actually advertising for this site?

They arent mine yet, but they are beeing shipped to me on monday. I have payed for them. The pictures are from the seller on messenger. Why would i advertise something with pictures and no site link? Why would i do this? Because im asking for advise on the pots.

Personally, I like the look of oval shaped pots. However, I'm sure those trees would look great in either one of those pots.

OK. Nice trees, are you sure the ones that are shipped are the exact same ones that are on the images, or are the images an example?

Nice trees indeed.

I think the square pot would go well with the rugged looks of the bark. The rounded is too friendly for the character of the trunks.

The middle tree is too big for the trunk, in comparison to the other 4 trees. So if they all come together in one forst, make sure you trink it down quite a bit.

What is your plan for the layout?
