Hello y’all! Philip from Norway here. I got a shipment today with lots of 10l bags, Akadama, Pumice, Lava rock, peat, chopped pine bark, benefitial fungi and coco peat.
I have a plan when it comes to a mix, something like:
2 parts Akadama
1 part Pumice
1 part lava
1 part pine bark
1/2 part peat
1 ts fungi
I tough maybe i could mix it all together, and store it in 4l plastic zip lock bags, post mixed. But then i tough, maybe it could go bad when mixed and i plastic bags? Maybe i should just store the soil mediums seperate, and when i need to repot i just mix it then.
I also saw it got very damp inside the containers with the soil, so i poked some 1mm holes in them so it wasnt entairly air sealed.
What do you guys think? Store post mixed, or store it seperate?
Sorry for my bad English.
Thanks to all who answear me. And btw bonsaiempire, make an app!!

I would keep it separate. Then I can change the mix to try different, to try better.

Hi and welcome.
I store the components of my mix sort of separate.
I'll explain; some trees need more organics, some more acidic soil, others very loose dry soil.
So I have a "dry mix" that goes into a box (pumice, akadama, crushed brick, cat's litter, etc) already mixed.
Another semi-wet box holds peat moss mixed with perlite and kanuma, for the azaleas and to compose some mixes for special trees.
And the "very wet" box holds pine bark, horticultural charcoal, peat and leca (expanded clay).
So I mix and match the appropriate percentages among those three "premixes", depending on the tree(s) to repot.

Thank you!
Interestingly, I liked the way you collect, wet and dry. That way there are not so many different bags, but rather two separate boxes of wet and dry.
What about useful fungi that are in collaboration with the roots, I've got three bags with the different fungi. Endo, Ecto and mychorz, do you use it? Maybe it gets in the wet bag?

Well, if the tree is healthy and some old soil is left at the time of repotting, mycorrhizae, (mycorrhiza or mycorrhizas) will develop by itself (from fungus spores left in the old soil)
I have been using MycoNox when I bare root conifers.

Mycorrhizae form a symbiotic association between a fungus and a plant. The term mycorrhiza refers to the role of the fungus in the plant's rhizosphere, its root system. Mycorrhizae play important roles in plant nutrition, soil biology and soil chemistry.

Interestingly, there I learned something new. I'll have it in my mind next season when it's repotting time.
Are the other two types different from Mycorrhizal? I'm talking about Endo and Ekto, it's something I picked from a bonsai website, are they just sales tricks maybe?

I have pretty much all.my trees in the same mix. I do not use fungal inoculants (look at the experation dat). My trees are fine. I think people make toi big a deal out of substrate composition.
