Lads, I do not mean to brag, but this "very ugly branch (as commented on after I shared my poor airlayer here for the first time) " got over 500 likes in a gardening fb group just in a couple of hours. Yes people love the flowers, but this airlayer is going a good direction to become a nice bonsai in some more time.
I am writing this just to tell you to perservere and with passion and a vision you can turn ugly into something nice.
Few fresh pics with flowers again and mother tree that looks like it will have the primary branches decently formed after just one season.
I will be supporting them the next season too until they are thick enough and then it is just gonna be fun :)

I really love your wisterias, Mimo.
Very difficult to find some here in Brazil.

Thanx Clicio.
Would they be ok in your climate zone anyway?

Yes, I guess so.
I have a sapling (from a cutting: it blooms!) and I've seen big ones around.
If we protect them in the summer, I guess they do OK here.

Well, thanks a lot!
But yes, I have one in training, I appreciate your offer, but I'll learn how to keep it alive first!

Thanx. As written on previous pages - you cut wisterias to 1 pair of leaves to get ramification :)
