Would anyone know anything about re-potting a nursery grown flowering almond?

Never tried it, but i would imagine you reppot much like any tree. It would better if it wasn't in bloom, plants sort of stress put when you mess with them in bloom.

Yep. Get it out of the pot, get another pot, put it in the other pot.
