Hi My name is Daniel and I work at a Osuna Nursery in Albuquerque, NM. Over the past 6 years I have really enjoyed the freedom this job gives me to experiment with some pretty cool projects including bonsai. The other day we received an order of New Mexico Privets and one of them came with a few fasciated branches. I thought this would make an excellent bonsai! If I were to use the air layering technique do you think this would work? I have looked around at several places for a while now and called several bonsai "specialists" but have gotten no response from anyone. Can this be done?
