Want to try propagating from cuttings, but not sure how the Pacific Northwest fall season will feel about it. Was leaning toward maple cuttings, but open to ideas if other species might prove more likely to survive the process this time of year. Saw that a few people have taken cuttings in fall/winter and created humidity chambers to achieve more desirable temperatures - is this something I should consider trying? Thanks in advance.

I amna little lost. You are asking us what you would like to propagate? Isnt this the wrong way around?

If you are in fall, look for species that do well for hardwood cuttings.
