Hi guys can anybody advise what I can do here?
I’ve been bought a great looking Cedar, it’s got great movement but unfortunately now I’ve removed the top soil, it has a pretty nasty knuckle about an inch above the first root.
Is there a way I can encourage root growth from this knuckle or will I just have to live with it?
Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks 333Adriaan333 I did wonder this but didn't know if there was anything I could to enhance the chance of root growth in that particular part of the tree.
