Hi there,
I recently purchased a ficus benjamina from the local garden shop.
It appears to be doing well and putting off lots of new growth.

My question is, how do I best fuse the three trunks into one?
Should I separate all three trunks and then wire them together?

I am very new to this and eager to learn more, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Warmly,
Cait

These are ficus benjamina branches stuck in a soil. You are years from getting this into anything that can be trained as Bonsai. Find better material.

I'm not sure if it will work with these plants... have a look at this:

Thank you all for your comments...I found an informative website that explains the process of fusing the trunks.
It will take years before it begins to resemble a bonsai of course, but the joy is in the journey :D
