About four years ago I noticed some pine trees growing in this pot. I haven't needed it, so I ignored them. Now they seem to be worth doing something with. Opinions about potential?

They seem to be tough since they have survived without any particular attention.

They are southern white pines, which around here are pretty much considered weeds. The roots have to be completely tangled up, and I don't see any way to work on them individually.

Ideally you would want to repot them individually, but...
If the roots are really tangled and/or impossible to separate, could it be a small forest in the future?

I don't really know about the roots, but I don't think the three trees would have been in the hospital same pot and not tangled themselves up.

I was thinking wait till next spring and repot, cutting roots as practical, then try wire them up for decent shape. If I can separate the roots, I'll do it.
