This was cut just two weeks ago. All i did was put it in this glass and left it by the window. Should i keep this going for longer? Bigger container of water or should i plant it now and leave it for a couple years?

roots at this stages are very weak. You CAN pot it up now, but most people are unable to do this without the roots breaking. As such, general recommendation is to wait for the roots to turn brown before potting up. No need to take a bigger container.

In my garden it would have been potted as soon as the first root peeked.
