Carmona/Fukien Bonsai Seed Propagation Tips? was created by plantdadtime

Hey! I'm not really a bonsai keeper, I'm just sitting my friend's bonsai for over quarantine (she had to travel back home and couldn't take it with her), but it seems like her carmona is going to seed soon! Lucky me! She told me if I got any seed from the plant while I was keeping it to feel free to try and propagate. I'd love to give it a shot, but I know bonsai seeds can be very touchy, and though I've been trying my best to find out what specific care needs carmona bonsai seeds have, none of the websites I've seen have actually delved into what those are. So! What do I do here? I know that's really broad, but I'm new to this, so I really mean it to be that broad. What substrate should I use? How often should I water it? And (mostly importantly) before I plant the seed, is there any work I need to do to prep it for germination? Thanks so much!

There is no such thing as a 'bonsai' seed.

Try to google how to propagate carmona from seeds. Without the term bonsai, you might get more useful hits.
