Baobab seedling issues was created by Gekosin

Good Day All,

Thanks in advance for all the valuable info and insights!

I have recently acquired some baobab seeds and have been able to get them to germinate but seems like they have both picked up strange issues...

The one seems to almost be trying out while the other has discoloured and might be going "off"

Any advice or solutions? - Image attached.

the substrate you have there is horrible. These tables are rarely suitable to start seeds in. The roots are suffering.

Thanks got the seeds in a starter box that came with those, have done some reading and will adjust the soil to something more sandy, apparently cacti mix is a good alternative but will see how it goes and try mix my own .

Any normal garden potting soil is good, the first 10 years or so you do not need anything bonsai-ish for soil
