Hello everyone! I got a ficus from a family member late last year. It was starting to yellow and hadn't grown much in years. It was farily root bound when I got it so i removed a bunch of roots and repotted it. I'm happy to say its filled out a lot this summer and I'm considering trying to make it into my first bonsai. I would love some feedback/ ideas because I'm honestly not sure what my next step would be. thank you for any thoughts you may have!

Hey, this type of Ficus is widely used on Vietnam, take a look into Vietnamese Ficus Bonsai trees for inspiration, of course, those huge ones are made on the ground, if you can, put it outside tru' spring and summer, so it can develop properly, indoors it can survive, but it won't thrive as it should, so it would take a lot longer to do anything...

it should be raised so that it is well in front of the window, placed on a stool will be good and give it fertilizer
