I have a couple trees sprouting up in the yard which Google Lens identified as Chinese Tallow Tree. They have grown over meter in a year and thickened out close to 4 cm at the base, so it looks like they would be good candidates for bonsai. The leaves look sort of like aspens and aren't too big.

Searching Google for Chinese Tallow Tree Bonsai gave me no hits with any advice, which makes me think nobody does them, and there may be a good reason for that.

Any experience with this species?
