To any and all,

I'm very new to Bonsai. I have 0% greenthumb. I was curious if anyone was familiar with Cornus Alternifolia (Pagoda Dogwood). I can't find any specific information on care and maintenance for this particular species.

I purchased 10 seeds. I have some pots, soil, and that's about it. From what little information I've found on bonsai trees, I have taken 2 seeds, soaked them in water for 24 hours. After 24 hours in water, put them into damp paper towel, then into fridge for bout 9 days. Today, I placed them into a pot with some dirt and watered. Only about 8-12 oz of water. Placed on Northwest facing window in my room. Not sure if this was the correct method for Pagodas but I suppose I'll figure it out in about a couple days to a week lol.

If anyone knows anything about this species please inform me of the following:

1. Germination Process
2. Projected growth rate/size
3. Optimum watering and light amounts
4. Indoor or outdoor?
5. Fertilizer methods/composition/application
6. Optimum soil composition?
7. How often is re-potting applicable? (I intend to keep this project no bigger than perhaps a foot in height)
8. Any and all other information that may benefit an up and coming Bonsai Grower!

Thank you for your time and information.
