Basically it was a normal Christmas tree/teardrop shape about 9-10" tall.
What advice would you have given? Wait a few years
Just wait for spring, at least.
This forum, has some cool videos, something about an anniversary. One of them shows how to grow the lower branches first. Sort of cool, how to get the trunk bigger than the rest of the tree. This guy had the lower branches, at a few meters.
Don't toss the plant, it'll keep growing, hopefully. The fastest way to kill a juniper, is to keep it inside.
and yes, it will take ... years

Yes, I believe the video Samantha refers to is this one:
However, what you could do is subscribe to Bonsai Empire YouTube channel and watch all of its videos there. Of course, there are so many others good channels... I find incredibly interesting the series "The Bonsai Art of Japan" of Bjorn Bjorholm.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not throwing away my tree, I like it.Samantha wrote: Don't toss the plant, it'll keep growing, hopefully. The fastest way to kill a juniper, is to keep it inside.
Great video too Has anyone used the damage/injure technique before? That's the first time I've heard of it.

I wouldn't recommend this book as it's probably not available in Poland, and you would have to get it shipped to you. I definitely would suggest that you get a book on the topic of bonsai, as it would mean less work for all of the more experienced people on here
If you still want to go for my specific book, it's called 'Bonsai Basics' and is by Colin Lewis

The original quote:

What exactly do you mean? Wait for What, and Why wait with that?
The 'wait for spring' doesn't make sense if you're not telling if that concerns wiring, shaping, pruning, repotting or fertilizing.
