Hallo,
I am looking to grow a bonsai tree from a seed of a yoshino that happened to grow into a plant under the mother tree in my garden. At this point it still is just a small thing. Where can i learn how to make of this a bonsai?
Many thanks!
Debora

Up on top, start with where it says, "The Basics". After that, when you get the chance, just search for "growing bonsai', and see what more you can learn. No big hurry, you have years ahead of you in this quest.
Right now, you need to keep it alive, and let it grow. It will need soil that drains really well. Most potting does, when it's new and you don't pack it. There's all sorts soil mixes, under basics, that are for bonsai. It's amazing all the things they use. It aught to be fine where it's at for, looks ok.
Oh, one more thing, nearly all trees need to be kept outside. Many quickly die if left inside very long.
