HI,
I have been growing an apricot three from seed for the last 6 months. It has been kept indoor and now it has about 16 green leaves. I read that it would be better to drastically prune it (leaving just a few leaves) in order to let it re-grow stronger. However I am seeking for some advices:
1. I am leaving in Scotland, do I have to place the three outdoor in order to allow the three to loose the leaves (by know the spite the small amount of light the leaves are still green)? Or will it be fine by staying always indoor?
2. When am I supposed to prune it? Do I have to prune it now, once that the leaves will be gone, or once that the new leaves are back?

Many thanks,
Matteo.

Cutting it now will reduce growth. Let it grow for a couple of years.
