This deadwood keeps haunting me.
I have seen it twice in the Saitama 大宮盆栽村, Ōmiya Bonsaimura.
It's like some dead animals were trapped inside, trying to escape.
I wish I can go back there to see who is the Japanese artist that styled it.

Very nice, very old. THe deadwood structure must have come from branches that jave been pruned several times, and then decay of part of the deadwood.

NIce example of how you work with the grain of the wood!
