They posted new stats last night. It burned 16,000+ acres and 364 homes. Which makes it the worst wildfire to date in colorado. Luckily it has died out quite a bit now. The weather has helped some, wind direction shifted and blew it back onto itself. They are saying it is only 15% contained tho.

As of last night, 45% contained. There have been 2 deaths, and old couple were found in a burned down house.

Yep 75% contained now, 17,960 acres burned. No more structures burn and no more injuries.

They are saying 98% contained. They are going to do a fly over today to determine if they can say its 100% contained. In the past 2 years they are saying we only got 38% of our precip. We are finally getting rain here and there now. Which now brings up a new problem around the burn scar area, flash flooding and mudslides. Because of the lack of vegetation, there isn't anything to slowdown the water.
