As we know, Americas and their import laws aren´t in our favour. And Asia has so much to offer that Mimo stands no chance in competition that has such a huge bonsai and penjing legacy.
But hey guys, what about trying to put some penjings together yourselves? It is really not a rocket science.
And I am happy to assist and give advice to anyone interested.
For example, Clicio, I can see a stunning little penjing in your neagari style chinese elm

Allright moss is important but surely not 100 percent necessary and there must be some ways around it....create a rocky shore for example and cover the top of substrate with smaller rocks or stones or akadama....think and try and you will come up with something for sure. Lack of moss cannot stop you from creating can it?
OK guys you got me thinking and I will try to come up wth some landscape with no moss at all
