Not sure whether I did share this. But.. In an attempt to het more trees on this forum.. This tree was bought from Will Baddely a few years back. Almost got killed during a restyling by someone who took all the growing tips out. In fall I re-wired & thinned it completely. Now it is a matetr of refining and staying with it. Glad to see some new branches have popped in the crown last year.

It is a great feeling to see a tree start to recover or thrive, that seemed like it might have problems.

Poor tree, lacking dirt to cover the roots, no branches on the bare trunk, no glazed blue pot, a sparse little foliage on the crown...
And you call it a bonsai!!
Let's make a deal: send it to me and after two years of tropical care it will be wild!

GREAT tree, LB!:silly:

Nice characteristics features, looking forward to seeing it on a show in 2 or 3 years time.

Sorry.. not in a show yet. It will need a proper wiring again. But I am happy to see I managed to get enough foliage for an additional layer in the cascade. This summer:

I have a few junipers in my garden (17, of which this is the smallest). My largest I wired as training for the German NTC.

Do you think I should do more to prepare?
