I am not really against the use of non standard materials. I do frown upon not being willing to use standard techniques - if you do not master them.

Agree. Basics are important. The objects used, in my opinion, less so.

Might not always like the outcome, but yeah. Many raods to rome. Decent plant, trying. Good enough for me.wont buy the end result myself though..
