Well, we know they are suculents.
We also know they are not bonsai.
I have the three species.
The Crassula Ovata as an accent plant could work .
The Adenium, for the flowers. It's a nice house plant.

Why people insist in using Jade and train it to be a "bonsai"?
Because it can actually be done?
With the proper knowledge and care that is, of course. Also, because being succulents, their needs are not so taxing, as most of the rest of the trees we might have.

Cicilio, correct me if I am wrong here. Isn’t casurulla ovata the proper scientific name for what is commonly called Jade. Again, jade is a broad genus with many varieties and one of which is Casurulla Ovata.
I’ve been reading up a a lot on this to understand myself. So the question is why is the a hesitation to accept this as a bonsai.
Again, don’t mean to start a heated debate but to learn.
Isn’t casurulla ovata the proper scientific name for what is commonly called Jade.?.
Leroy, perhaps it's a regional thing, but here one is called Jade (bigger leaves) and the other Crassula or "mini-jade" (small rounded leaves.)
See the difference on the pictures below; on the first picture, the one in the foreground and the one to the left are Crassulas; the other in the background is Jade.

You could be mistaken easily with those. The big leaf is Crassula ovata, the smaller is either Crassula or Porticularia. The trees shown above by Alain are Porticularia afra. Such beauties!
Here 4 different variants of Crassula ovata together:
P.s: That Adonium is just incredible cool..

WOW!!!!
It's always great to have experts to solve these confusions!
Thank you, Felidae, I will call the small one Portucalária Afra from now on, and Jade the big one. Thanks!
