I have grown this little guy from a seedling for 5 years. I have wrapped some branches around the trunk, and expirimented with some other designs. I have buried the nebari under a nice amount of potting soil to enhance growth. There is one big extension, and one medium which are on opposite sides. There is also a thin root coming off of the trunk which i think could be very interesting once it starts to mature. What do you think? It is very nasty outside, when it is sunny i will try to show you the twists of the trunk.

Surely not a classic bonsai style for that one!

Maybe before you try to go creative, first learn the basics so you know how to create good bonsai.

I am not a fan of these 'experiments' to be honest.

Ive done plenty of research but i decided I would design my tree whatever way my mind went. It is not classic, but it is original. I believe I can make this tree look very nice on its journey of maturation. It has lots of work to do, but the finished product will be very rewarding to me. Thank you for your thoughts!

Yes, that argument I hear often. It's an art, so I'm free to do what I like. Sure, you are. You can do what you want and create a nice tree that pleases you.
However, please do not call it a bonsai, because that's not what it is and it's not what you're doing. Sure, you can break all bonsai rules - if you know them and understand why you break them. You're not breaking bonsai rules, you're making up your own.

No disrespect, but first of all I will not let you put a damper on my work. I have done plenty of research during the past few years, and I know the "guidelines". I'm not a by the book guy like you, and in any way will put a limit on my creativity. I will call it a bonsai, some of the most bold, intricate designs are the ones that don't follow your rules. I understand what I am doing, and if anything it is a very big accomplishment. Thank you very much, and I will keep doing what I am doing ☺

You can keep doing what you like. And enjoy it, please. But if you are doing bonsai, then you also must realize that not every plant in a pot wth branches wired is a bonsai

As an example.. Although many people like this, is it not bonsai:
