Hey everyone I was wondering if I could get a little help. I successfully cloned a few Japanese maples for future bonsai trees and I was wondering if I needed to plant them in a larger pot with a bonsai soil mix or if I could use basic quick drain potting soil, also when would be the best time to fertilize it? Eventually I wanna put them in pots that are around 1.5" to 2" deep and 5" to 8" wide preferably round pots.

Nice job.

I think I would leave them in these little propagators and put the whole thing in small pots for the rest of the season. Fertilize when you see clear extension growth
