Both trees needed 8 days for the substrate to get at least dry on the surface. I’m really not happy, but the trees don’t like it neither..

The Honeysuckle will be okay. Got some yellow leaves, but the new growth coming faster than the yellowing.

Now there is the boxwood.. It’s in flower at the moment, but badly yellowing. I think I cannot fertilize it correctly if I watering just in every 10 days. The soil is badly compacted. I’ll give chelates... I cannot just sitting and watching while it’s dying.

hm.. I doubt it is boxwood to be honest. I think to know they all have smoothe leave margins. Could it be Japanese Holly?

Buxus ssp. but no further idea. It’s the Mallsai elm who’s photobombed it from the right...

Thanks, Clicio : ) I hope it continues.

It was clearly stated as Buxus, but LB put the bug in my ear..
Now looking at the Photo, and it appears like the leaves are alternating!
And LB was right it’ll be an Ilex.. : D

Thanks for helping put it back on the road and re-identity.. ^^
I feel I’d like to make two trees from it. And sure I’ll carve the base...

*Sorry Auk, I swear I’ll pay you a beer for every deciduous I butchering deadwood on. I hope it won’t cost my Bevog collection...
