Hello! I am brand new here though have used the website before. Whilst at a supermarket a few months ago I found 3 bonsais reduced to 50pence and looking very sorry. I have managed to save two of them but am really struggling to identify them, I will try and add a photo any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome.

I am a little surprised you could not identify these. They are very common amongst big chain store bonsai, and you can find it under tree species on this website. It is a fukin tree, a.k.a. Carmona.

That was my original thought but questioned myself when they refused to flower. The white buds just stay as buds then eventually fall off

Carmona likes heat and water. Put it in the brightest place as possible and it will flower all year.
