My Japanese Apricot (Ume) is in bloom today, mid winter here.
It will be chopped down after flowering, so I will surely enjoy these flowers while they last!

Very nice Clicio!

Since you mentioned it’s winter where you live right now, I wonder what would happen if trees are moved from one climate to another.

For example: Winter where you are and Summer where I am or vice versa.

I guess trees would adapt to the change in climate if they’re moved.

Most trees adapt over time.
But trees already established in one region are more sure to thrive (seedlings, cuttings, airlayers, grafts from mother trees already healthy).
My Japanese mentor, Makoto-san, just came from Japan two months ago and brought some seedlings and saplings. He tells me they go better if the timing is right: Not high summer, not dormancy winter. So he brought them in late spring (japan) to late fall (Brazil). As we don't have snow in the winter here, they are doing very well up to now.
