Im looking at getting a red pine so what is the pros and cons of red pine

Im looking at getting a red pine so what is the pros and cons of red pine


I don't have one so can't tell much about it. I know it is one of the more suitable species and it's a dual flush pine.
So, the pros would be they can be great bonsai. The cons... well, maybe that it's a pine so maybe a bit harder than junipers or deciduous trees.
Even in my wet climate my pines (white and black) are doing pretty good though.

I have a good one, cascade.
It is softer than the black pine, care is almost the same, but needles are naturally shorter and it is considered a feminine tree.
If you can care for a jbp, so you find the jrp easy to manage.
