Hey kids.
I'm curious to know what U.S.D.A (hardiness) zone everyone was in, and what country you are from.
I was looking through the forum and noticed that some of us are getting ready for winter, and some of you lucky ones are just staring to see buds on their trees. This is a pretty big factor in the information being provided.
So ....
I'm in zone 4a and live in Brewer,Maine,U.S.A.

I am central europe-isch (Border Germany / Netherlands, and not in the USDA map. But we would be in the 6-7 region. Winter temperature -15 to -20 at most.

We could all put this info in our profile, at the "location" part.

This way, when you hoover with your mouse over the little "house icon" under your avatar, this information is easily accessible?

That would be great if everyone filled out that info. Oscar, You have absolutely nothing on your profile and you are the moderator. ;)
Could you make it part of a form for new members that has to be filled out when "applying" for membership?

Can't easily do that right now, but I added the link "edit profile" to the user menu, to make this easier. I'll look into it, but for this information needs to be added after signing up.

I've added my "zone" to my profile. The link wasn't any help to me as there is nothing about Canada on it. The map is of poor resolution so when I zoomed in on it, everything was too blurry to make out. I'm just going by what they tell me locally what our hardiness zone is here. ;)
