Was out makring trees for next spring, came across plenty of good material. But these two I enjoyed the most. They are hazel trees, growing on the west coast of Norway. With loads of deer to keep then pruned and hard storms and weather in general, there trees grow naturally smaller in the wild.

Do note that hazel have large leaves that do not reduce well. THey are fast growers though, so you can build a canopy in a few seasons.

I dug one in spring, but am bored with it, so it will leave my garden again soon;
