I recently purchased/created some new bonsai trees. I am now up to 5 trees, and I finally feel like a real bonsai enthusiast! Here is my collection thus far...

Your trees all look very sophisticated. :). Where did you buy them? Online or do you have a local source?

Locally. I have 3 great bonsai nurseries very close to me. Kimura Bonsai, Fuji Bonsai, and House of Bonsai.

Your large juniper has the same shape as my pine. I really like the bird plumb and cotoneaster. Nice trees.

You are lucky! I am coveting your trees. I would like to hear people's opinions about the the bottom tree, I think the lowest branch on the left should be shorter. I am trying to development my sense of tree aesthetic. What do you think?

I think the bottom tree is still in its early stages of development and should be left to develop for a few years before any work is done.

Haha Pinkham, you should charge James with plagiarism ;)

Great minds think alike! ;)

The ficus is still very very young. Im treating it more like a house plant than a bonsai at the moment. No pruning yet. It will be a while before I decide what I will do with it.
