Hello everyone. Must say fantastic website.

I need a little info. Wondering whether any one has grown Jasmine as a bonsai and are there any photos around that I can get an indication of how well they do as a bonsai.

Any input would be appreciated as I am considering getting a Jasmine

I have four small Jasmine grown from cuttings but they are just from last year so no great progress yet - this is Jasmine Officianalis which is a winter flowering variety - fully hardy and small leaf, all I can say so far is they have been no trouble, I have just been pinching out new growth to develop ramification. The smallest one has started to flower, sorry no pics available, try a Google search, I have seen photos of some mature specimens which look pretty good

have a look at bonsai4me.com species guides and much more. I have a Jasmine which is growing quite well, not an easy species to train, but nice when in flower.

Yes, quite a nice looking tree, not sure I would keep all those tangled roots, but that is me. I like to look and consider all options, I bet it is nice in flower.

It's in flower now and is very nice. The roots I think make up for when the tree is not in flower JMO
