OK... Saw an add in our local version of eba: two vine honeysuckles for sale, to be collected within a few days. So long story short.. On friday I fought with two plants, trying to get my shovel though the roots, without damaging the paving. (Effectively, I had about a foot squared per tree to work in).

They plants came out with very little root. I soaked them overnight in bucket with water and a rooting hormone. The potted them up yesterday.

I think I got two decent trunks, if they survive..

That's a nice looking trunk ,hope they survive.

No idea yeat. First going to let them recover and decide next spring which direction to take, assuming they recover well.
