FAQ? was created by Auk

'I have always been interested in bonsai, ever since mr. Miyagi - wax on, wax off, lol - and now I bought this beautiful tree. How do I take care of it?' (insert picture of a not so healthy mallsai).

This line - and variations of it - is one of the lines I encounter very often on bonsai forums. Recognize it? Then you'll also recognize:

'I have this juniper indoor. I bought it at a car boot sale. It has been doing well for weeks but now all the branches have turned brown. How do I save it?'
'I have bought this great ficus bonsai at Ikea a week ago and now it is dropping all its leaves'
'I have bought this tree (picture of a 2 year old seedling) and now I want to repot, fertilize, prune, wire and shape it. I know nothing about bonsai. How should I do this?'

It is annoying to have to answer the same question over and over so I wondered if we should set up a FAQ.
I asked the mods, but they asked me to throw the idea out to be discussed.

Who thinks this is useful - and - who would want to help write articles ?

Yep, I´ll second that idea anytime, anywhere. It would certainly be very useful not having too many threads on this forum always referring to the same issues. Thumbs Up...
