Hi guys, this is my collection of bonsai in training

What do you think I should do with this monterey cypress in the corner

your granddad's a bonsai master, why not ask him?

He is in japan for the last time

I'll be getting real glasses soon, but I find it hard to distinguish a 'collection' on the photos. There's on trunk that seems to be something that could be a bonsai in training, but the rest... not so much.

Could you make separate photos with a better background?

Also, how is his location related to his bonsai skills? It doesn't matter whether he's in japan or not unless when what you wrote was a bit of a... lie, really.

Let it grow untill you have a 5+cm trunk. Put a few bends in it before you put it in the ground.

Don't do anything with it. Let it recover. Wait until next year, and until you see new growth.
Meanwhile, watch some websites / videos about how to properly wire a branch.
