7th season about to start for this one. I never thought I will be able to ramify it to this extent.

Great penjing.

For one of these, what do you do about root trimming and refreshing the soil? Do you bare root everything, and then put them all back?

I have a major problem getting 5 back in the right places in the right angles. I don't have enough hands for them. There must be a technique I am missing.

Well now that you mentioned it - I probably should repot it after all those years :D
But not this season yet. I believe root trimming would encourage stronger rough growth so I am waiting until it will be really needed. All the trees are healthy so far. But I plan to repot it as a 1 tree of course, these will be totally connected with their roots now.
