I went to Košice bonsai club meeting last saturday, my first bonsai club meeting ever, and I loved it.
Very nice people, nice location, nice food and drinks, and I got my spruce yamadori styled by a pro :)
I am looking forward to nex year´s one already :)
Some pics here and more on my blog for those ineterested.

I have a question.

Why isn't there a way to subscribe to accounts as well as just topics?
I would love e-mail notification of every time Krištof starts a new topic.

Thanx lads.
I don´t know about subscribing to accounts, but there should be a way to subscribe to my blog on blogger if you look around.
I post updates whenever I do something with my trees or go to see some exhibitions or visit bonsai fanatics.

I did a second styling of a spruce from this thread so I continue here with it.
I had to cut back radically to be able to start buliding ramification.

Spruce I was showing you here is dead.
I had it in semi-shade last year and it was growing nicely...and this spring I tried to put it in full sun as most of the trees I have LOVE it.
Obviously this spruce didn´t and new growth started to turn brown some week after it came out of buds.
I moved it into shade but it seems that nothing can help it already.
It is very sad looking at it now.
I think it was entirely my fault - full sun and maybe a bit too harsh last year´s pruning and wiring.
I couldn´t see any signs of insect infestation.
I thought that I know what I am doing after 3 years of studying and practicing, but obviously I do not at times.
I should have remembered that this tree grew basically in shade where I collected it from.
Another hard lesson learned.
