		If it were mine, and I had to do something to it, id either graft/air-layer, or just cut it down to a shoot farthest down the trunk.... at least with the air layer you could develop a root base, or nebari- root flair

		I don't like the idea of grafting one species to another it just doesn't seem natural to me.
Air layering might be the way to go but I fear it is to advanced for me as thus is the first plant I ever owned!
