Next, quick question on if I shouI'd repot them this time as year as I think I want to get them into larger pots to let them get growing before trimming and pruning.

Sorry to say it,but they really are not. These are just quite young, untrained, unshaped plants. It doesn't have much to do with bonsai.
Doesn't mean they are useless. Both are suitable for bonsai, but it is going to take many years to grow and train them.
I think they are:Serissa and Boxwood. Wait for others to confirm (having a bit of a problem with my eyes at the moment...)

Thisis true for any seed of a suitable species. As material goes, this is in the least suitable possible, as it will require growing everything you need for bonsai. Looking at decades of trunk growing.333Adriaan333 wrote: With time and care it can make good bonsai trees
If you are serious about getting into bonsai, get some plants with a trunk. Think,several cm diameter. Otherwise you will be waiting a long time before you can actually work n getting it into bonsai.
