Juniperus Horizontalis - Excessive care was created by lmfcruz61

hello, i bouth a pre-bonsai Juniperus Horizontalis 2 weeks ago.
It was really in good shape.
I transplant it to a smaller vase and cut the big roots. At same time i wired the tree.
Now after a week the leaves become a bit yellow but not to much.
It is autumn here.
I am worried because maybe it was an excessive care.
If is was... what can i do to don't loose the plant.
Kind regards

Luis

Hi there.
I wouldn´t call root pruning and wiring at the same time and in the wrong season an excessive care.
Sound more like carelessness.
You should care more about studying first.
Now you just have to wait and see how much damage you have done.

Getting a tree, not giving it time to settle, repotting it, in the wrong season, and cutting roots, wiring it at the same time... that's a good recipe for killing a plant.
Can't tell if this will survive without a picture. Chances seem slim as it is already yellowing.
