I read online that a boxwood is a good Bonsai tree.

The only boxwood I could find at home depot was ": Boxwood Japanese"

Do you know if this is a good Bonsai tree? I guess there are different types of Boxwood.

Boxwood is good for bonsai, but Home depot does not sell good bonsai.

It was not sold as a Bonsai, it was sold as a shrug or hedge. I want to transform it into a Bonsai.

Home depot had some Bonsai trees but they did not look good.

I am focus on the Boxwood which is suppose to be a hedge.

I am going to have to guess what you mean. That may be:

Buxus microphylla vs Buxus sempervirens, var Suffruticosa (never heard of that one, had to look it up) vs Buxus sempervirens?

Boxwoods are very good bonsai, and I have trained one from a hedge.

I'm not sure if there is any difference in a Japanese boxwood; do you have any photos of it?
