Hi, I’m new to this forum and looking for advice. I purchased my beautiful bonsai 1 year ago. When I first purchased her she had so many leaves on her you could barely see her branches, but slowly over time she has thinned out as you can see from her before and after picture. I’m assuming she’s a ficus bonsai? The tag that comes with her doesn’t say much but that she is a bonsai and prefers a bright sunny room, and to water when top 1 inch of soil is dry. I must admit she lost her leaves due to a dry spell when I forgot to water. She is coming back with tlc but I’m wondering will her leaves fill back in on their own or will she need to be pruned or branches cut to the root? I’ve always wondered about the pot she is in, is it sufficient or should I put her in something else? Thanks
