Juniper parsoni collected stock

I found this juniper in a field and put it in a pot for consideration to repot and style this spring . I have styled many maples but never a juniper. Looking for advice how to style.

Hi, nice plant. Looks like a San Jose juniper. This plant is not ready for styling. Nor repotting. You should get scale foliage on pretty much all branches. Once you have runners on many branches you know the plant is in excess energy and ready for styling.
Take it slow. The tree will develop faster and you will have a bonsai earlier.

Good find. I see there's a foliage close to the trunk. Good thing. Give it time though to recover and establish itself, as LB said.
How to style it... cascade seems the right choice. You could use that first branch. But again, give it lots of time to grow first.
