Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!
I am hoping that someone might be able to give me a few tips on this species, I am very new to the Bonsai topic as I've never owed one before and I was hoping that I could get some opinions
I have some sort of bad feeling for the leaves at the moment as they have some holes in it but, I am looking for a pot these days so it can have a proper home!
I assume it's a Sweet Plum?
Every suggestion would be very appreciated!
thank you x

As it is important to know what you buy before you buy it, so you can give your plant proper care where it concerns location, position, watering and fertilizing, I'm sure you asked the seller. What did they say it is?
Also, putting a plant in a glas jar with some decoration does not have that much to do with bonsai, really.

Hi, I am not sure if my last reply was sent.
I have bought it today, fortunately it was not my inspiration to place it in a glass jar. The attendant just told me that I have to report it and when I asked about what type of Bonsai it is, he didn't know what it was. Moving on, I have been looking around and what it looks like a Chinese Sweet Plum.
Help instead of criticism would be very appreciated x

I would not have guessed a plum. To me, this looks like a ligustrum.
Although it may look nice on your window-pane, this is a plant in a tricking situation though. It will be dificult to properly care for it in a glass jar lik this. The soil cannot drain properly. My advice would be to take this out of a glass jar. And once spring comes it of course has to be outside.

the leaves are similar to the ligustrum that I have... So I would second , leatherback's vote for ligustrum.
have a look here: www.bonsaiempire.com/tree-species/ligustrum
or here: www.bonsai4me.com/SpeciesGuide/Ligustrum.html
both of them have been helpful to me.
